The University of Leeds

University of LeedsThe school has a very positive relationship with The University of Leeds who provide training for science technicians at our school and other local schools; provide a venue for some of our sixth form leaders’ training events and send post graduate students and staff to get involved in our innovative extended learning days. Leaders of the university and school speak at events at our partner institutions as the following emails make clear.

Could I possibly ask you to pass on our thanks to Jackie for her involvement in the Leeds for Life Awards Ceremony last night?  I hope she enjoyed the evening.  Jackie’s speech was absolutely fantastic and we really appreciate the time she took out of her busy schedule to attend the event.

Subject: Thank You for a wonderful presentation and attending our event

Dear Jackie/Dave,
Thank you for a wonderful speech and the support given to the Access Academy at our Leeds for Life Awards last night. I have seen many senior staff this morning and all have commented on Jackie’s inspiring speech. It really is great to have partner schools that share our vision and values and are easy to work with.
Thanks again to both of you
