What is the decision making process?  Who makes the decisions and on what basis?

 

Decisions are reached in consultation with a range of people and services which includes you, as a parent/carer.  The decision is a consensus of all interested parties and is made with the best interests of the student at the centre of the process. 

 

How will you involve me as a parent/carer?

 

You will be asked to provide your views throughout the process.

 

How will you judge whether the support has had an impact?

 

Through the rigorous assessment process and analysis of data as well as the views of the young person involved.
