Key Stage 3 builds upon (not repeating) the knowledge and skills developed in Key Stage 2. All students in Years 7, 8 and 9 enjoy the benefits of studying the National Curriculum. We believe that at KS3 teachers can instil a confidence and passion for their subject that underpins their success at Key Stage 4.
This includes lessons in English, Mathematics, Science, Geography, History, Religious Studies, Art, Drama, Music, Design Technology, French and an introduction to the other languages available for further study at GCSE - Spanish, Latin, Urdu and Arabic, as well as core PE, all supported by a comprehensive PSHE programme. Support and intervention with English and mathematics is provided to those students who require it to fully access the Key Stage 3 National Curriculum.
