Batley Girls’ High School is very proud to announce that we to have achieved 0% NEET this year.
This means that there are no students who are ‘Not in Education, Employment or Training’ and demonstrates the post-16 and pathways support provided by the school, which prepares our students for their future options, whether that be further or higher education, apprenticeships, work or training.
Our Careers Team strongly believe that partnership work is central to unlocking the potential of all students. We also provide mentoring and advice, to support our students as
well as offering a Progression module, which prepares students for making applications to universities and jobs.
“Every tutor went beyond my expectations with the principal aim of ensuring I was able to pursue a successful career and positive future.” Fatima Laher, Alumna
David Cooper and Julie Haigh Co-Heads affirm, “We are committed to lifelong learning and developing well-rounded individuals before they embark on their life beyond the school.”
