Every half term Stronger Together, our Parents & Carers' Forum meet at school with members of the Senior Leadership Team to discuss the parental perspective on education and ways in which they can support their children at school.
We discuss various items with the school community and our parents are very active in helping in school with key events. There is a wide parental representation throughout every year group and our school governors are also actively involved in working with our parents’ representatives. We see this as a vital opportunity to be fully involved in the life of the school and to contribute to exciting current future developments.
Our parents have participated and supported in a number of events as well as being involved in visits to Universities and Employers to gain experiences for their own children's future pathways. Please note, any parents who help and support our events are all DBS approved.
In addition we consult with our parents on new policies, where applicable.
Our Parents’ Forum has been recognised locally for their excellent work and we regularly have interest from other schools who wish to model our good practice in this regard.
